Wow! The last week of term!

* Spelling words: octopus, octagonal, octogon, octohedron, octopod, octodecimo, octogeneration, octennial, octet, octocentenary.

* Find the dictionary meaning for five of your list words. You may even use this blog to write the definition so everyone can see it.

* Continue with your “Water For Life” poster.

* Read for 20 minutes each evening and write what you have read in your diary.

* MATHS: Problem “Matt’s Mat”. You may even use this blog to show your answer.

These are my dictionary meanings.

Octopus-An octopus is a mollusk that has eight tentacles.
Octopod-Any eight armed mollusk.
Octagon-An eight sided polygon.
Octave-A tone on the eighth degree from a given tone.
Octet-A company of eight singers or musicians.
